Oh Behave Baby
Kali, as we call her, is a 16.2h Thoroughbred whose bloodlines include Northern Dancer. She has tons of scope and a tidy form over fences. She moves beautifully with a flat knee and cat-like stride. Her first filly, Breeland is turning 5 in 2024 and is a permanent resident of the farm for people to get to know a "Rue" baby. Kali also gave us an exceptional colt in October 2020 named Reverie who belongs to Jackie Yates of Atlanta, GA. Jackie is pursuing eventing with "River" in the future. Kali is expecting a foal in 2024!

This young 16.3h mare had a successful racing career before coming to SLSH. Her bloodlines include Empire Way (Unbridled) and Seattle Slew. We call her Kimber and adore her quiet demeanor. She is so quiet, anyone can ride her. We have been just enjoying trail rides and easy work to let her adjust into her new life here. She delivered a spunky colt this May 2022 by Cerulean Nightlife. After weaning her colt this fall, we will start her into regular work and see how she is over fences and what new career to pursue with her. Will it be Eventing? Or Jumpers? Maybe since she is so quiet, she will be a Hunter. We will let her decide. She is very well bred and we are very excited about her colt, Tristan who is available.
