Suzy Bramlett, owner of SLSH, has been riding horses since the age of seven. She spent several years as an assistant trainer for hunter/jumper barns on the West Coast before moving to Georgia in 2000. Her main interest has been starting young horses on the ground, under saddle and over fences. She has attended numerous clinics with the late Ray Hunt and Tom Dorrance to understand Natural Horsemanship at its roots. She became interested in dressage and eventing with her off the track thoroughbreds here in Georgia. She continues to pursue her education in all equestrian disciplines. Suzy purchased Cerulean Nightlife (aka Rue) from Jeanette Aumen the summer of 2017. They spent the fall trail riding and getting to know each other. In the summer of 2018, after spending the spring at the breeding barn, his training started under saddle and over fences more extensively. In 2019, Rue spent a few months in training with Daniel Sarango of Le Bonheur Equestrian. Suzy and Rue will be training with Daniel Sarango at Chatsworth Stud in Show Jumping and Eventing.
Sammy is Suzy Bramlett's daughter and she has been riding all of her life. She actively pursued showing ponies on the Georgia Hunter Circuit until she was 13 years old. Then she moved her focus on cheerleading. Sammy is now a cheerleader at the University of Mississippi but still finds time to come home to Georgia to help with the babies and ride horses with her mom.
Éclair is one of Silver Lining's mascots. Although she likes to get into trouble, she also enjoys cuddling up with Suzy and Sammy in the mornings for a cup of coffee. If you ever find yourself at the farm, Eclair will happily be the first one to greet you. Just make sure you have cookies to greet her back and there won't be any trouble.
Pele or otherwise known as "Grandpa Pele", is the ruler of the barn. Only standing at 10 hands, he still manages to keep his barn under control. Pele's newest job he has taken under is keeping the recently weaned foals company and teaches them the ways of the farm. Pele is grateful to live this new life of leisure after being Sammy's firs

Suzy and Sammy have always looked for the positive and the "Silver Lining" in the ups and downs of life. This is something they often shared between them with the joys of the corgi puppies they raised, or the vacations they have been on, or just a beautiful sunset they witnessed together. It seemed fitting then, after the loss of Suzy's father and grandmother in the same year, to start a farm that raised Irish horses after her family's heritage and name it Silver Lining. They take pride in the foals they are raising and developing their potential for show jumping, dressage, eventing, hunters, or just trail riding. SLSH farm is located in beautiful Sugar Valley, Georgia at the base of John's Mountain. It is adjacent to hundreds of Wild Life Management area acreage to trail ride and expose the youngsters to lots of different terrain. They are handled daily and meticulously cared for.
